Simple proof of concept for automatically toggling a specific nameplate anchor position based on name of a subzone.
In order to configure this WA:
- Load => Zone IDs (1455=IF, 3456=naxx, 4273=ulduar, ..)
- Custom Options => comma seperated subzone name (as shown in minimap)
- Trigger 1 => change arguments to "nameplateOtherAtBase", 0/2 for top/bottom
Included in the example configuration is "The Spark of Imagination", the room of Mimiron in Ulduar.
The idea here being that since the CVar used to control nameplate positioning is protected (can't be changed in combat), one has to use other mechanics to trigger on. Some bosses such as Mimiron have their own subzone which we can use, but targeting the boss and checking its name could also work just fine. |
